Aglianico wine has been mentioned in historical sources since 1596. The vine of the same name seems to have been introduced in Italy by the Greeks or by the Phoenicians, several centuries before the birth of Christ. Throughout history, Aglianico has been a highly appreciated wine, to the point that its qualities have also been praised by Pope Paul III. TASTING NOTES Aglianico Contado Majio Norante

Ruby red. The vinous scent comes to the nose first, followed by ample and intense hints of ripe red pulp fruit. Tasting it it proves soft and velvety, full-bodied and rightly tannic. Overall it is harmonious and has a persistence that recalls almond. Aglianico Contado Di Majo Norante
