Sagrantino di Montefalco Signae is a robust wine with elegant tannins, which requires pairing with important dishes such as roasts, red meats and game. Awarded several times by Wine Spectator with over 90 points, the 2015 vintage has obtained important awards abroad and in Italy, including the award as BEST SAGRANTINO of Italy by Luca Maroni.

 

Sagrantino Di Montefalco DOCG Cesarini Sartori Signae wine

At tasting, the red wine Sagrantino di Montefalco by Cesarini Sartori Signae shows a very intense ruby red color with reflections tending to garnet in aging. The nose is particularly rich and penetrating; blackberry, balsamic notes, spicy notes of pepper, vanilla, coffee and cocoa beans make this wine inviting. On the palate it is very rich, warm, with evident presence of tannins that thicken the wine and make it particularly long-lived.
