When tasted, the Rosso di Montalcino DOC Pian delle Vigne di Antinori wine shows a brilliant ruby red color, expresses notes of ripe fruit, quince jam and plums mixed with floral notes and toasted notes deriving from aging in wood. On the palate it is presented in all its pleasantness, soft, with lively but silky tannins. Its freshness and vivacity of taste are enhanced by a mineral and savory aftertaste, which also enhances the hints of ripe fruit in the mouth.
