The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is among the oldest in the world. The scholar Francesco Redi defined the "Montepulciano of every wine is King" by listing the various Tuscan wines in joyful verses. Pleasant notes of plum and blackberry between more serious sensations such as leather, fruit in alcohol, and a captivating musky finish.

 

Nobile di Montepulciano "Lodola Nuova" Ruffino

When tasted, the red wine Nobile di Montepulciano "Lodola" Nuova di Ruffino shows a deep ruby color, the nose is complex and elegant, hints of plum are mixed with spicy sensations with hints of leather and nutmeg. In the mouth it is full, with velvety tannins that determine an elegant and well balanced structure. It persists in a long and enveloping finish.
