Petra's Toscana Merlot IGT “Quercegobbe” is an elegant and vigorous red, the vinification of which takes place in oak vats and the subsequent maturation in wood of different sizes, first and second passage.

 

Tuscany IGT Merlot "Quercegobbe" Petra

When tasted, the red wine Merlot IGT Quercegobbe di Petra shows an intense ruby red color, with lively chromatic notes. On the nose it expresses aromas rich in red fruit, with subtle spicy notes and balsamic hints of myrtle and eucalyptus. Of great taste elegance, thanks to the fresh sapidity and the declared minerality, it is deep on the palate, with fine and silky tannins. Body and acidity are evident and, above all, in balance. The persistence is long, vigorous and harmonious in the aftertaste.

PAIRINGS

Throughout the meal, it goes well with rich first courses including meat. Bolognese sauce.
