Gin Mare

Distilled in Spain by the Giro family, in the third generation, this very particular Gin is inspired by the Mediterranean sea and is characterized by five main botanicals: Italian basil, Greek thyme, Turkish rosemary, Spanish citrus and olives from Catalonia. The intent is precisely to reproduce the authentic local Mediterranean taste and, to do this, the distillation process takes place in a 250-liter discontinuous copper still, created specifically for this type of processing.

TASTING NOTES

Gin Mare, when tasted, is transparent and limpid, opens the nose to vegetal aromas of moss, tomato leaves and resins, pine needles and Mediterranean scrub, with hints of rosemary and baked black olives, together with the peel of orange. The taste is an explosion of juniper and coriander, to then turn into the bitter vegetable of aromatic herbs, with clear references to rosemary and basil, rightly balanced by the citrus freshness, in a long finish that refers to cardamom and green olives.
