Alto Adige DOC Moscato Rosa Franz Haas

This vine owes its name to the intense scent of rose petals, characteristic of both grapes and wine. Franz Haas cultivates this vine in a ventilated area, to prevent the clusters from being attacked by botrytis. This Moscato is neither a late harvest, but a wine with a natural residual sugar. With a notably stingy yield per hectare, production is quite limited. Precious and fascinating.

TASTING NOTES

When tasted, Franz Haas' Moscato Rosa shows a brilliant ruby red color. The olfactory scents are lively, intense and fresh, and make up a bouquet made of rose petals, cloves, cinnamon and orange peel, but the scent of berries, raspberries and blueberries prevails over everything. On the palate it is complex and elegant, with a structure that masterfully plays between acidity, sweetness and tannins.

PAIRINGS


It goes perfectly with dry chocolate cakes and cocoa-based desserts. It is excellent with wild berries tart. It can also be appreciated on its own, as a meditation wine.
