The Bas Armagnac Millesimato is an elegant and refined label, which represents a prestigious version of this historic French distillate, which Dartigalongue has been producing since the beginning of the 19th century. The minimum refinement of vintage wines is 15 years, but even after many decades, their qualities remain unaltered. They are produced only in the most favorable years and with a selection of the best grapes of Ugni Blanc, Baco and Folle Blanche, the three typical vines of the region. The high quality base wines, a careful distillation process and a long aging in cask give life to Armagnac with a unique and inimitable taste. It is a label reserved for great connoisseurs, who appreciate the expressive nuances of the vintage.

The Millesimato is the pure and authentic fruit of a single great vintage, capable of expressing harmony, intensity and aromatic richness. It is the result of the great experience of Dartigalongue, which has been producing Armagnac since 1838. The estate is based in Nogaro, in the Bas Armagnac area where some of the most prestigious crus are found. The soils characterized by the presence of sands and silt, are ideal for giving the base wines subtle and highly refined profiles. The distillation process takes place with a continuous low temperature still, which allows to preserve elegant aromas and aromas. At the end of the distillation process, Armagnac begins aging. In a first phase the distillate rests in dry barriques to smooth out its youthful impetuousness, then in humid barriques, which help to smooth the profile of the Armagnac making it more persuasive.
