Champagne Charles Heidsieck Blanc De Millénaires Brut 2006 75cl (Boxed)
It was 1993 when, for the first time ever, the Charles Heidsieck house presented its Blanc des Millénaires to the world, an exceptional cuvée that is only produced on very rare occasions. This champion brings together five of the main Crus of the Côte des Blancs: Oger, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Cramant and Vertus and each of them manages to bring its personality and peculiarities, giving life to a Champagne that is a masterpiece, rare and precious.
Champagne Charles Heidsieck Blanc De Millénaires Brut
Charles Heidsieck Blanc De Millénaires, when tasted, presents an intense golden yellow color with very delicate perlage, on the nose it reveals an expressive and elegant profile that speaks of lemon, yellow apple and dried fruit, in particular almond. This is then followed by sweet pastry notes and a light toasting in the background. Fresh and lively sip, it casually unfolds a monumental freshness of citrus fruits, and then evolves towards a creamy, rich, rounded texture. Pure silk wrapped in a precise minerality.
COMBINATIONS
For a serious aperitif, it's great with caviar.
