Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore is one of the best Italian sparkling wines in the world. Made from pure Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected rigorously by hand from the rows of the Maso Pianizza vineyard, at around 600 meters above sea level, it is then left to rest for ten years on the yeasts, without haste, so that they can give the wine all its elegance and sumptuousness to the aromas that will characterize it, making it unique. Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore, when tasted, has a bright straw yellow color, with brilliant golden reflections, and shows a very fine and long-lasting perlage. Intense and complex nose, it is equally divided between the marked minerality and the sweet exotic sensations: white chocolate, hazelnut and beeswax blend with fresh balsamic notes, chalk and granite. Velvety and creamy tasting, it is complex, soft and fresh, dressed in a mineral dress and finished with elegance. Suggestive, sumptuous, always delicious.
A great aperitif, sublime throughout the meal, it is worth trying with mozzarella in carrozza.
