Franciacorta Brut “Freccianera” is one of the most representative sparkling wines of the Cantina Fratelli Berlucchi range. The Franciacorta Brut “Freccianera” by the Berlucchi brothers is an intense and complex Classic Method, which has the particularity of being produced with a high percentage of Pinot Bianco, generally little used in the assemblages of Franciacorta, which tend to favor Chardonnay instead.
Franciacorta Brut "Freccianera" Berlucchi brothers
The Franciacorta Brut “Freccianera” by Cantina Fratelli Berlucchi is a Classic Method sparkling wine elaborated with a long aging on the lees of at least 50 months, which expresses an elegant and complex bouquet with fruity, citrus and bread crust aromas. The sip, long and persistent, retains a lively mineral freshness, a typical expression of the Franciacorta territory. A prestigious label, particularly suitable for gastronomic combinations, even important ones, with seafood menus or white meats.
The Brut “Freccianera” is produced with a blend of Chardonnay (60%), Pinot Bianco (30%), Pinot Nero (10%). The grapes come exclusively from the vineyards owned by the Cantina Fratelli Berlucchi grown in the heart of the morainic hills of the Franciacorta area. The cool and breezy climate and the draining soils, rich in pebbles, proved to be perfect for cultivating vines destined to the realization of the Classic Method. After the harvest, the grapes are vinified separately with fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature. The vins clairs rest for a few months in steel before the creation of the cuvée and the second fermentation in the bottle, lasting at least 50 months before degorgement.
TASTING NOTES

On the nose it expresses notes of white flowers, ripe fruit, pain brioches and toasted nuances. On the palate it expresses good structure, deep and nuanced aromas which unfold towards a persistent and very fresh finish.
